About Dr. Nitin Bawa
Dr. Nitin Bawa, MD
Dr. Bawa finished his medical school from University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2001. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at UIC hospital. He also has an MBA in Health Services Management and Finance from Loyola University Chicago.
Dr. Bawa’s Bachelor’s degree is in Chemistry from Northwestern University where he did research on Alzheimer’s disease and also co-authored a research paper published in Experimental Neurology. Dr. Bawa has done an externship at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, and has participated in research with Flight Surgeons. He has volunteered with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Dr. Bawa has been doing Botox, Fillers and Laser treatments for almost a decade and he thoroughly enjoys the artistry aspect of these treatments.
He has been one of the highest utilizers of Botox in the area. Besides aesthetics, he is one of very physicians in the area who bills insurance to do Botox for migraines and neck pain. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and participates in many regattas at the Fort Walton Beach Yacht Club. He loves swimming with his children and tries to keep up with his wife in Peloton.
